This is another really small family group. The founder arrived in Quebec in 1913 and moved from Canada to Pennsylvania in 1914. His father (William Baines Parrott) was born on the Isle of Man and his mother in Scotland. It is not certain if his original surname was Baines or Parrott.

    The funeral of Mrs. A.L. Parrott, 2240 Girouard avenue, will be held from his chapel of William ,Inc., 2075 University street, today at 3 p.m. Interment will be at Mout Royal Cemetery. Mrs. Parrott died Saturday in hospital after a lengthy illness. She was in her 80th year.

    Born in Ballymena, County Down, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Captain and Mrs. John Eaton. Her father was a trader and owned a fleet of ships bartering with the West Indies and Newfoundland.

    Surviving are four sons, Stanley, Leslie and Cyril of this city and Horace, living in England, and four daughters, Mrs. Iris Murdock and Mrs. H. McCormick, living here, Mrs. L. Hawkes of Vancouver and Mrs. D. Hess of England.
